Olive Young Stopped Shipping to the US: What Changed and What To Do Now

On 29 May 2026, Olive Young Global stopped shipping from Korea to the United States and began redirecting US customers to a US-stocked platform. If your usual restock route just closed, here is what actually changed, why, and what your options are now.

What changed

Olive Young's global (Korea-dispatch) store no longer accepts US delivery addresses. US visitors are pointed at a separate US operation that ships domestically from US warehouses — with a narrower range than the Korean catalogue.

Why it happened

Korean-origin goods now carry a reciprocal tariff of roughly 15% of declared value plus processing fees. A retailer built on high-volume duty-free small parcels either prices that in — or stops shipping. Olive Young chose to stop.

Is the US site "the same"?

It is the same company, but a different catalogue: the US-stocked range is a subset chosen for US fulfilment, and stock arrives via bulk import rather than per-order dispatch from the Korean supply chain. If the product you want is a Korea-market item that never made the US assortment, the US site cannot sell it to you.

What your options are now

• Olive Young US — fastest for the range it carries; domestic shipping, no import paperwork.
• Warehouse resellers (Hong Kong or US stock) — wide range, but check where the parcel actually dispatches from; origin drives both freshness and the customs paper trail.
