"How long does shipping from Korea take?" has a real answer, but it depends on which of three services your parcel actually rides — and on one customs change that added a step for US orders in 2025-26.

The three ways a parcel leaves Korea

• Express courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS): fully tracked, fastest through customs because the courier brokers the entry.
• EMS (Korea Post express): faster than K-Packet, handed to your national post for final delivery (USPS in the US).
• K-Packet (Korea Post small-packet): the economy option for parcels up to 2 kg — slower than EMS, and the time depends on destination and season.

We do not quote a number of days for any service: peak season (November–January) and customs holds add time on any service.

The tracking gap that worries everyone

Almost every Korea-origin parcel shows the same scary pattern: events in Korea, then a stretch of silence, then events resume in your country.
