How we ship from Korea

K-beauty has a counterfeit problem. In 2024 alone, brand-protection researchers logged over a million suspected fake K-beauty listings across global marketplaces, and Korean customs reported a 24-fold jump in counterfeit seizure value in 2025. If you have hesitated over a suspiciously cheap serum, you were right to.

Here is exactly how this shop works, so you can judge it yourself.

Posted from Korea by Korea Post

There is no overseas warehouse in the middle. Orders for Korean products are posted from Korea by Korea Post with a tracking number — which is why the shipping line on a Korean product page is a Korea Post rate to your country, shown before you pay rather than at checkout. Any import duty or tax your country charges is collected on delivery; see the line for your country at checkout.

On our hero products we show you the Korean store price

Selected products carry a Seoul Receipt: the price that product is selling for on the brand's own Korean store right now, what we add to source and post it, and the price you pay. Three lines, no rounding in our favour.

You can check it. The Korean price we quote comes from the brand's official Korean storefront, and we re-read that page each time we update the number rather than copying an old note. If the Korean price moves, the receipt is wrong until we fix it — so we would rather show it on the products we have verified than fake a badge across the whole catalogue.

What we do not claim

  • We do not claim every item is certified. The Seoul Receipt appears only on products whose Korean source page we have pinned and re-read. Everything else is sold on the plain facts: brand, size, price, freight.
  • We do not run permanent "was" prices. The only struck-through number in this shop is on a set, and it is the real total of the items inside it. Deep permanent discounts are one of the loudest counterfeit signals in this category; we would rather be honestly priced than theatrically cheap.
  • We do not show fake urgency. No countdown clocks, no "12 people are viewing this", no invented stock panic.
  • We do not import reviews. When reviews appear here they will be from people who bought from us.

The brands

The Korean brands we stock have their own Korean storefronts — COSRX, MEDICUBE, Anua, MEDIHEAL, SKIN1004, Torriden, Dr.G, Beauty of Joseon and the rest. That is the point of buying from Korea rather than from a marketplace listing: the supply chain is short enough to describe in one page.
